At the Epigenetic Relational Therapy Academy (ERTA), we provide specialist training and educational resources for therapists, counsellors, and mental health professionals. Our mission is to provide research-driven training programmes and educational resources that support therapists, counsellors, and organisations to:
• understand and heal intergenerational and relational trauma within individuals, families, and communities
• apply innovative therapeutic interventions grounded in neuroscience and relational practice to support lasting change
• promote culturally competent, anti-oppressive mental health care, while addressing barriers to accessing appropriate and inclusive support
• bridge the gap between scientific research, spiritual awareness, and practical therapeutic approaches
IERA-Therapy® is an advanced practitioner diploma in trauma-informed relational therapy, a research-based therapeutic model developed by our Founder, Dr Novena-Chanel Davies, for the Epigenetic Relational Therapy Academy (ERTA).
This innovative framework integrates a scientific and relational understanding of human development from pregnancy through adulthood, bringing together epigenetics, intergenerational trauma, relational neuroscience, and psychotherapeutic interventions.
IERA-Therapy® applies this knowledge through a structured, evidence-informed approach for working with trauma and relational dynamics.
The professional training programme leads to certification as an IERA-Therapy Practitioner for practitioners who complete the diploma programme and meet the professional standards established by ERTA.
